Lauren Marie Nix offers almost 10 years of industry experience. Lauren is a Chattanooga native from Lookout Mountain, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lee University. In 2014, Lauren began her career in insurance and obtained various insurance licenses as well as Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 6 and 63 held through LPL Financial. She opened a State Farm agency as a 26 year old single mother to her daughter, Blakely. Her experiences and challenges as a single parent instilled a desire within her to walk alongside and empower other women with their financial planning and confidence. In light of this passion, she acquired her Chartered Life Underwriter designation, as well as her Series 7 and 66 held through LPL FInancial and began working in the financial planning industry. Prior to joining Northshore Financial Strategies, she worked at Merrill Lynch and Ally Invest. She is now focusing her efforts in continuing education in acquiring her Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) professional designation.
Lauren is now happily married to Levi Nix, and together have one son, Ezekiel. Their family of four, plus Golden Doodle, Charlotte, reside downtown, and together they enjoy an active lifestyle on the riverwalk! Lauren and her family are believers and attend Calvary Chapel in Chattanooga! They serve in their church and community in various ways. Lauren loves to travel and on her consecutive off days you’ll probably find her at Dollywood or the beach!
