Laura Kristin Lyons, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role at NorthShore Financial Strategies.
Laura is extremely detail and process-oriented, making her an ideal professional for managing the day-to-day operations of NorthShore Financial Strategies. She oversees all administrative functions and addresses service requests, including but not limited to handling complex account needs.
"I’m passionate about working in the financial services industry because each of us has a duty to ourselves and to our loved ones to make sound financial decisions, yet many of us lack the time or resources to do so. It is a privilege to watch our clients become confident in their abilities to achieve financial security."
Her tenure in personal finance makes her especially suited and empathetic to the needs of NorthShore’s clients and the NorthShore team. She draws on her background in psychology and behavioral finance to effectively problem-solve and lead operational efficiencies.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rhodes College, Laura earned her CFP® designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2000. Prior to moving to Chattanooga in 2017, she appeared in a weekly personal finance segment of Knoxville's NBC affiliate and was a contributor to Knoxville Magazine's "Green Speak" column.
Laura lives in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, where she enjoys local arts and culture. Her hobbies and interests include fitness, literature, architecture, and mid-century modern design.
