I help people BEGIN WITH A PLAN so they can live their adventure.

My team and I are on a mission to empower women with financial confidence; focusing on those who need guidance through critical life transitions. The transitions I help people with the most are planning for retirement, navigating divorce, or coping with the loss of a loved one. I believe that when you begin with a plan, it helps eliminate the fear about the future so you feel free to live your life.

Early into my career, I realized there was still a gap in the information provided to, or tailored toward, female investors. Even growing up in a family of financial advisors, there was not much talk about financial-related topics – especially the considerations women face with money.  My team and I are on a mission to close that knowledge gap.

Every person’s situation is unique, and I enjoy continuously studying industry developments to create the most effective strategies. I am honored to serve as the knowledgeable guide for clients, but I have found that increased knowledge often helps create increased confidence. As a result, my team and I spend a lot of our time, energy, and money on educational resources.

I am an advocate for my clients. I have served on industry boards, such as the IRI Advisor Panel, to provide feedback on what planners see as the top concerns facing the industry, where I had the opportunity to participate in an education event on Capitol Hill. In addition, I have been featured in CNBC’s Personal Finance column and Investment News as well as local publications.

I’m honored to have been on Forbes 2020 Top Women Wealth Advisors list among other top women in the industry. However, the recognition I’m most honored by is the Top Wealth Advisor Moms by Working Mother Magazine. I am proud that my children see the work I do and are celebrated for their role in the balance of work and life that is required to serve others. I am blessed with clients who are equally supportive of me being present for those special adventures or memories with my children.

Even though I am a third-generation financial planner, growing up I had no idea it was a field I would work in nor love as passionately as I do. I feel so privileged to serve others and help make an impact on their quality of life through this work that I love.

*The Forbes ranking of America’s Top Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receives a fee in exchange for rankings.

**Top Wealth Advisor Moms -award criteria: SHOOK Research considered women advisors with a child 21 or younger still living at home. Ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC. Neither SHOOK nor Working Mother receive compensation from the advisors or their firms in exchange for placement on a ranking.
